Race report by Gareth Coates - TeamXRAY UK Manager
This past weekend Team XRAY UK competed at the prestigious and long running 2017 Schumacher BTCC series!

This round was the last round of the 2017 series and was held at the busy Cotswold's model car club. Being that this round was the final round of the series Schumacher's own Robin Schumacher was in attendance to oversee the weekend and make the presentations.

Unfortunately the British weather played a hand in proceedings and made it another wet racing weekend!

Racers managed to get in half a days practice on Saturday in the dry but then we were entertained to a thunder and lightning show for the afternoon.

Sunday’s race day started out damp and miserable and finished very wet indeed!

Track conditions required a slice of luck and the knowledge of what the weather was to do. A lot of time was spent on apps trying to deduce when the next rain shower would arrive and possibly pass! Was it going to be dry car wet Tire conditions or wet car wet tires!

Veteran racer Dave Ringsell made the podium twice with his T4'17 in the 17.5 blinky class. Finishing 2nd on race day and 3rd overall in the championship!
